Frequently asked questions
The short answers are below. Still stuck? Send us a message, we read every one.
What is Avenn?+
Avenn is an AI life coach you actually talk to. You pick one of four coaching styles and have a real conversation about habits, career, relationships, and direction. Your coach remembers context across sessions, so coaching compounds instead of restarting every time.
Is this a real conversation or a demo?+
Real. The coach you talk to on the site is the same one that powers the app. Type anything on your mind and you get a genuine, considered reply, not a scripted chatbot.
Do I have to sign up to try it?+
No. We start an anonymous session the moment you pick a coach, so you can talk first and decide later. No email, no card to begin.
What does "it remembers me" actually mean?+
Avenn keeps lightweight context between sessions: your focus areas, recurring themes, and where you left off. Each conversation picks up from the last instead of starting from zero.
What is the difference between Free and Pro?+
Your first week is on us, unlimited. After that, one full coaching session a day on the free plan, with unlimited messages within it. Pro is $14.99/month (or $59.99/year) for unlimited sessions and the freedom to switch coaches any time.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?+
If you subscribed on the web, you can manage or cancel any time at the Stripe billing portal using the email you checked out with. Cancelling stops future renewals; Pro stays active until the period ends.
Can I get a refund?+
Yes. If you request a refund within 14 days of a charge, we issue a full refund. Email [email protected] with the email address on your account and we will process it, typically within one business day. After 14 days, cancelling stops future renewals and Pro stays active until your paid period ends, but no refund is issued for remaining time.
Is Avenn therapy?+
No. Avenn is for personal growth and direction, not medical or mental-health care, and is not a substitute for professional help. In a crisis, contact a professional or a local crisis line (Canada 1-833-456-4566, US 988).
